Kim: (archly) Uh, Ron--(groan)--you mean 'expatriates'--like Gertrude Stein--Hemingway?"
Ron: (sheepish grin) "Oh, yeah--what you said. Um, what prompts this question?"
Kim: (affecting nonchalance) "Oh, nothing. It was no big. Just curious. (sigh of relief "Thank goodness. What if Ron turned out to be--Aunt Mim's GRANDSON? Me--dating my COUSIN? EWW! SO THE INCEST! Well (sigh) false alarm.")

[link] [link] wrote a smokin' story over at FF.Net about Jon Stoppable and Mim Possible marrying after WW1. [link] The story ROCKS. I recommend you get right over and devour it. BUT--this brings up a sticky matter. If Kim's aunt married Ron's grandfather, are they--gulp--COUSINS? Now, in the story, Mim is unable to have children. So that settles THAT issue. But that old deviant Wry bread just can't leave well enough alone--so he envisioned this here conversation. Happy perusing, my hapless readers. Hope I haven't scarred anyone's psyche. |
